Shibravyi Courtyard

Shibravyi sits at Nagegowdanapalya, off Kanakapura Road past Konanakunte, and it is an outdoor venue rather than a hall with a garden attached. The lawn and the courtyard work as one space, seating around four hundred with room to spread further when people are standing.

That means the weather decides a great deal here. The spaces are not air-conditioned, which is a pleasure from November through February and a real question in April and May. If your date falls in the hot months or close to the monsoon, ask what cover is available before anything else.

The flexibility is the reason to look at it. Outside caterers are allowed, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian, and outside alcohol is permitted with corkage. On this stretch of Kanakapura Road most venues bundle the caterer and the bar into the hall rate, so a family with a cook they have used for twenty years usually has to argue. Here they do not.

Four air-conditioned changing rooms are available. There are no rooms to stay overnight, so out-of-town family will need a hotel — worth planning early, because this part of Kanakapura Road has few.

Parking holds 180 vehicles with valet service. Music cannot run late, so build the evening around an earlier finish than you might elsewhere.
