Moments Bangalore

Moments Bangalore is at Nelaguli, a rural stretch off Kanakapura Road, well outside the city. The centrepiece is a traditional courtyard house, with a small lawn, a larger lawn and a poolside area around it.

Reviewers describe a green, quiet place, well kept, and say the staff look after the day. Families have held an upanayana, naming ceremonies and small weddings here. The courtyard house is small, so a wedding of any size is held on the lawn, and the indoor space suits a smaller group.

There are three rooms, including a bridal room. Outside caterers, decorators and DJs are all allowed, and alcohol is not. Reviewers say parking is ample, and there is little or no phone network on site. Events of under fifty guests are also taken.

Ask about two things before you book. A recent guest found the courtyard hall cramped and its AC weak in April, and said the lawn needed mowing. Nearby places to stay are limited, so plan where out-of-town guests will sleep.
