Rajhans Greens sits on 23 acres of green land off Kanakapura Main Road, towards the Cauvery pipeline, close to Silk Institute metro station. It is farmhouse-style, with open lawns, a convention hall, a stage, a dining area and a guest house. The venue also takes receptions, corporate events and pre-wedding shoots.

It is a large property, and reviewers describe the main hall as taking about 1,000 guests. The dining hall is smaller, and one reviewer puts it at about 300 seats, so ask how food is served for a large wedding.

What to plan for:

• The approach road is about 1.5 km long and rough in places, according to recent reviewers. Plan the arrival of elderly guests and cars.
• Several reviewers say the property has many steps and slopes, some without railings, and long walks between the hall, dining area and washrooms. Ask to walk the route before you decide if you have older guests.
• Parking is a concern for some reviewers. Ask how many cars it holds and whether it is watched by CCTV.
• Ask about cancellation and rescheduling terms before you book. A few reviewers were unhappy about how a cancellation was handled.
