Poornima Palace & Convention Center

Poornima Palace & Convention Center sits on Mysore Road at Kenchenhalli, between Nayandahalli and Kengeri, about 200 metres in from the highway and next to METRO Cash & Carry. It is one of the larger convention centres on this stretch, and it has been working weddings here long enough to have gathered several thousand reviews.

There are two halls. The larger takes over a thousand guests comfortably, with an attached dining hall and handwash area; the second is smaller and suits a reception, or a second function on the same day. Both are air-conditioned. There is an air-conditioned changing room for the bride and groom's party, and overnight weddings are permitted.

Getting your guests there

Parking is what reviewers mention first and most often. There is open parking as well as a multilevel structure, and families report arriving in numbers without the usual scramble. It is also well served by public transport — buses run along Mysore Road and the metro is close, which matters when half your guest list is coming from the city side and would rather not drive.

Catering and decoration

You can bring your own caterer and your own decorator. The venue has its own decor service if you would rather not arrange one. Worth knowing early, because a venue that insists on in-house catering narrows your menu before you have started.
