Madhuve Mane Convention Centre

Madhuve Mane sits on Challegatta Main Road at Kengeri, a newer property on a corridor where most of the halls are not. It seats 650 with room for a thousand moving through, and there is a separate dining hall rather than tables set out at the back of the same room.

Eight air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms are available for the two families, and guests also mention a dormitory for larger parties staying over.

It is actually air-conditioned

This is the thing that sets it apart here. Reviewers count twenty split units through the hall, and describe the whole building as cool rather than merely ventilated. On this corridor the usual arrangement is fans and air coolers, which manage well enough in December and not at all in April. If your date falls in the hot months, or your lunch sitting runs into the afternoon, that difference is one your older guests will feel all day.

The kitchen is vegetarian

The venue is vegetarian only. You can bring your own caterer or use theirs, but either way the food served here is vegetarian. For many families that is exactly right and worth seeking out; if it is not, it is better known now than discovered after a site visit.
