Moongate Events Venue

Moongate sits at Chikkajala, off the airport road before Devanahalli proper. It opened in 2017 and is unusual in that it was built for events and nothing else — not a resort that also does weddings.

The property runs to about ten acres with a lake on one side and a hill on the other, and there are seven distinct spaces. Fig Tree Lawn is the largest at six hundred seated, twelve hundred floating. The Courtyard Hall takes five hundred seated indoors. Sonn’e is an east-facing lawn for three hundred and fifty, the Pavilion Lawn with its gazebo stage takes three hundred, and Lacu is a lake-facing stage. Ambrosia is the dining hall, and Opa Banquet is a smaller indoor room for two hundred.

That spread is the point. Families running mehendi, muhurtham and reception can give each function its own setting without the place being re-dressed in between.

Forty-seven rooms on site, which reviewers consistently describe as four-star standard.
