JKR Farm and Resort

JKR Farm and Resort opened in 2025 on the northern edge of Bengaluru, towards Doddaballapur. It is laid out as a farm property rather than a built venue — open land, a single large lawn, and space around it rather than walls.

The lawn seats five hundred and takes a thousand standing. Its distinguishing feature is the stage, built against a waterfall backdrop, which is what guests and photographers remember about the place. A poolside area alongside seats fifty and suits the haldi or a small mehendi.

Twenty-two rooms are available on the property, which is generous for a venue of this size and means the immediate family on both sides can stay together rather than driving in on the morning.

Catering can be in-house or brought in. Decoration is handled in-house. Outside DJs are permitted. The venue is dry — no bar, and outside alcohol is not allowed — and it does not take functions of under fifty guests.

One thing to plan around: the venue is entirely open-air. There is no indoor hall, so an unexpected shower has nowhere to move to. For a December-to-February wedding that is no constraint at all, and the open setting is the whole point. For a May or September date, ask what cover they can put up.
