Lotus Arena

Lotus Arena sits off Doddaballapur Road near the L&T factory, on the Devanahalli side of north Bangalore. It is built for scale: the main banquet-and-lawn combination seats two thousand and takes two and a half thousand standing, which makes it one of the few venues in the city that can hold a wedding of that size without splitting the guest list across sittings.

What distinguishes it is not just the capacity but the number of spaces. Seven function areas sit on the property. Lotus Hall and ISIRI Hall are indoor, each seating five hundred. Davanam is an open lawn of the same size. Clumeria, Bilba and Mogra are smaller outdoor spaces taking two hundred seated apiece, named for the flowers they are planted with.

For a family running several days of ceremonies that layout does real work. The haldi can happen in one garden while the mehendi runs in another, the muhurtham takes an indoor hall, and the reception moves to the main lawn — none of it overlapping, none of it needing a changeover.

Twenty-eight rooms are available on the property. Decoration is handled in-house, there is an in-house DJ, and outside DJs are permitted. The venue does not take functions under fifty guests.
