The Beginning

The Beginning sits at Kachamaranahalli in Mullur, just off Sarjapur Main Road near Wipro IT Park. For families living along the Sarjapur, Bellandur and Whitefield belt, that location is the whole point: it has the feel of a resort wedding without the drive to Devanahalli or Kanakapura Road, and guests coming from the east of the city reach it in minutes rather than hours.

The property runs five distinct spaces, which is unusual and makes it one of the few venues in Bengaluru that can hold a full multi-day wedding without anything overlapping. The Euphoria is the main hall, seating a thousand and taking two thousand standing. The Serene Courtyard is the open lawn, ringed with trees, seating around eight hundred. The Tavern is an air-conditioned mini banquet hall beside the main hall that looks out over the courtyard and works as an exclusive dining room or for the smaller ceremonies. The Azure is a part-indoor, part-outdoor space, and there is a further indoor room, the Topeina, for intimate functions. A terrace is available as well.

Sixteen rooms on the property house the immediate family. Catering can be in-house or brought in, outside decorators and DJs are permitted, there is an in-house DJ, and outside alcohol is allowed. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian menus are served.

The venue takes functions of under fifty guests as well as full weddings, so the engagement, haldi and mehendi can run in the smaller rooms while the main spaces are held for the wedding day.
