SVS Aura Banquet

SVS Aura Banquet sits at Muthanallur on Sarjapur Main Road, near Dommasandra. It is entirely indoors — there is no lawn here — which makes it a different proposition from the resort properties further along the road, and a simpler one. Nothing depends on the weather, and a May afternoon or a September downpour changes nothing about the day.

The main banquet hall seats 250 and takes 400 standing. A separate dining hall seats 125 at a sitting and holds 400 standing, with a see-through kitchen, so guests eat in their own room rather than in a corner of the ceremony space.

The venue positions itself around service rather than scale: a built stage, changing rooms within the banquet, curated menus, and table settings and crockery of the kind usually seen only in star hotels. It suits a family that has decided on 300 guests and would rather spend the budget on how the day feels than on an acre nobody uses.

Catering can be in-house or brought in, and there is an in-house DJ with outside DJs permitted. Alcohol is served and outside alcohol is allowed, which sets it apart from several venues on this road. Decoration is handled in-house only. Two rooms are available on site, so outstation families will need hotels nearby.

The venue takes weddings, engagements, baby showers, naming ceremonies and birthdays, but does not accept functions under fifty guests.
