Maple Convention Centre

Maple Convention Centre stands on Sarjapur Main Road at Heggondanahalli, beside Greenwood High International School, in the Gunjur and Dommasandra stretch where the road begins to open out. For families along the Varthur, Whitefield and Sarjapur belt it is one of the closer options, and the landmark makes it easy for guests to find without directions.

The property runs two spaces. The main hall is air-conditioned and seats around a thousand, taking roughly fifteen hundred standing — large enough that a full guest list sits down in one sitting rather than in batches. Alongside it is an open lawn seating around four hundred, which suits the muhurtham, the haldi or an evening reception while the hall handles the dining.

The venue is run as a pure-vegetarian property and does not serve alcohol. For families planning a traditional South Indian wedding that is usually the arrangement they want anyway, and it is worth knowing early rather than late. Outside caterers are permitted and outside decorators are welcome. There is an in-house DJ, and outside DJs are allowed. Havan is permitted and changing rooms are provided.
