A garden venue at JP Nagar 9th Phase, off Bannerghatta Road near Anjanapura, with four spaces: the Mandapam and its twin halls, the lawns, a banquet hall and a set of suites.

The lawns and courtyard take 400 seated or 650 standing. The indoor banquet is much smaller at 100 seated, useful for a haldi or a small reception, not for the main function. Four rooms on site.

The thing that sets it apart is what they don't do. There is no in-house catering, no in-house decorator, no house DJ. You bring your own, all of them. Most venues of this size tie at least the food to their own kitchen, which fixes a large part of your budget before you have negotiated anything. Here every line is yours to negotiate.

That suits a family with a caterer they have used before, or one working to a firm budget. It suits a family wanting one call and everything handled rather less, there is more to organise, and someone has to organise it.
